KikSense
Call-In
Post-pitch story
Eduard Skhisov pitched KikSense in the show's call-in pitch competition: wearable sensors and software that could analyze a martial artist's technique and form, like a coach strapped to your limbs. The idea was technically ambitious, and it was real — in October 2019, Skhisov was granted a US patent for an automatic martial arts evaluation system. But a patent isn't a business, and KikSense never found its market. The company's blog went quiet in early 2023, and the project faded. Skhisov, though, was just getting started with the show. He came back years later with a new company, PodcastAI — a tool that automates podcast production — and this time he won funding on Season 11 of The Pitch. That makes him one of the rare founders to pitch twice on the show, years apart, with the second attempt landing. KikSense itself is a footnote, but as founder stories go, the long game Skhisov played is one of the best in the directory.
