Post-pitch story
Hunter Rosenblume was one of the youngest founders ever to appear on the show, pitching Lunar Wireless as a radically cheaper phone plan. The company kept at it for years, rebranding as Sweet! in 2019 to pitch a broader, modern phone service. But the economics of being a small wireless reseller are brutal, and in 2020 they caught up: Sweet! told customers it would cease service on August 15, 2020, explaining that industry mergers had driven wholesale rates up so sharply that its affordable pricing model was no longer sustainable. It was an honest ending to an ambitious idea — the little carrier squeezed out by the giants it was trying to undercut. Rosenblume, though, was just getting started. He's now CEO and co-founder of Ordo, a fast-growing school food company working to bring fresher, better meals into school cafeterias — a very different industry, but the same instinct: take a service everyone complains about and rebuild it. Lunar Wireless didn't survive, but its founder's second act suggests the pitch was never really about phone plans. It was about a founder who likes broken markets.
