Post-pitch story

Kimberly Lancarte brought Paggo to the show, but its trail after the pitch is hard to follow. We couldn't find a website, funding announcement or news coverage that clearly ties Lancarte to a Paggo still running today. A payments app with the same name operates in El Salvador, but we found no link between it and her company, so we're treating them as separate businesses. What is clear is where Lancarte went next. Her career moved into product and operations at ambitious tech companies. She was a senior product manager at ICON, the 3D-printed construction company, from 2022 to 2024, advised Cloud 9 Perception, and since July 2024 has worked in growth and mission operations at Nominal. That move strongly suggests the original Paggo didn't continue, though we haven't found a direct confirmation that it closed. If you know more about what happened to Paggo, we'd love to hear it. Send us a tip and we'll update this story. For now, the founder's story is the one we can tell: from pitching her own startup to helping build some of the most interesting hardware and software companies around.
