Post-pitch story
RedDrop's Season 11 pitch — period care products designed specifically for tweens — turned into one of the most decorated post-show runs of any company in the directory. Founders Dr. Monica Williams and Dana Roberts had already built a real business before the show, reporting $5 million in sales over two years. On the show, RedDrop raised $100,000 from Mac Conwell and The Pitch Fund. Then came the headline moment: in November 2024, the company won the $1 million grand prize from Pharrell Williams' Black Ambition, one of the most competitive pitch competitions in the country. In 2025, the company rebranded to "Scarlet by RedDrop" for a nationwide launch in Ulta Beauty stores that August, and also won the $200,000 Fifteen Percent Pledge Achievement Award. From a podcast pitch to a seven-figure prize, a national retail launch, and a rebrand — RedDrop's story is the kind of arc the show's fans hope for when a founder walks into the room. It's also a reminder that the best pitches often come from founders who spotted a gap the big incumbents ignored: products built for the actual needs of young girls, designed by people who understood them.
