Post-pitch story

Stock-Up Sports didn't get a full episode. Scott DeBerry called in with a 30-second elevator pitch for the show's "Pitchline Bonanza" episode, where listeners rapid-fire their ideas to the investors. After the call, the trail goes cold. We couldn't find a company website, funding records, press coverage or a startup database profile for Stock-Up Sports. The LinkedIn profiles we found for people named Scott DeBerry describe unrelated careers and don't mention the venture, so we can't be sure we've found the right person. The most likely explanation is that Stock-Up Sports stayed an idea and never launched as a full business. That happens a lot with bonanza pitches, which are often early concepts testing the waters. We're marking it as shut down with low confidence. If it's still around in some form, we'd be happy to be wrong. Scott, if you're reading this, or if anyone knows what became of Stock-Up Sports, send us a tip and we'll write the real update. Thirty seconds on the mic still counts as a pitch, and every pitch deserves a "where are they now."
