Wiggle Room
Post-pitch story
Jaime-Jin Lewis pitched Wiggle Room alongside Uche AI and greenIRR at The Pitch's first live show in New York (Episode 182), with 15 minutes in front of Jesse Middleton, Jenny Fielding and Charles Hudson. Wiggle Room supports family child-care providers — small, mostly woman-owned home daycare businesses — and its flagship product, AutoEnroll, digitizes the enrollment paperwork that New York's licensing agencies require. Notably, Lewis made her first sale before the product was even built. She got a deal: her founder page on The Pitch confirms a "Funded" status, with Jesse Middleton and Jenny Fielding investing. The dollar amount wasn't disclosed publicly. Wiggle Room is a New York public benefit corporation Lewis co-founded with Edwina Coburn-Spriggs. It emerged from the Blue Ridge Labs Fellowship and the Catalyst Incubator, with support from the Robin Hood Foundation and The Workers Lab. Lewis herself is a David Prize winner and a Camelback Ventures fellow. The company appears to have sharpened its focus over time — from an earlier marketplace concept connecting parents, providers and employers to the current paperwork-automation tool, priced at a $99–199 setup fee plus $200 a year. Given the recency of the taping, there's no independent post-show coverage yet.
