Post-pitch story

Al Lagunas came to The Pitch with a hotel problem guests rarely see: making sure every room is actually clean before the next guest arrives. Levee started as an AI app that helps housekeeping teams inspect rooms and catch problems. His episode, Season 13, Episode 14, titled "Cleaning Up Hotels' Dirty Secret," aired in September 2025. The panel had questions. Levee had just one hotel customer at the time and was asking for about $1.4 million at a valuation above $10 million. Lagunas said on LinkedIn that he used the taping to kick off his fundraise, though we couldn't confirm whether any of the show's investors put money in. Levee looks different today. Its website now calls it "the context engine for hospitality," software that tracks the promises a hotel makes to guests, across brands and properties, so staff and AI tools can keep them. That's a bigger and more ambitious idea than room inspections, aimed at hotel companies rather than individual housekeeping teams. We're basing the pivot on how the website describes the product now, not on an announcement. Levee is still running, and the next step is landing more hotel groups for the bigger vision.
