Anastasia Trofimova
Pitched on the show
Your Beet
Post-pitch story
Anastasia Trofimova, a former BCG consultant, moved from Sweden to Silicon Valley to build a company that turns recipes into shopping carts. You see a dish from a creator you follow, tap once, and the ingredients are ready to order from a local grocery store. It started as Your Beet. By the time it reached The Pitch, it was called Sundae and pitched as "LTK for groceries." Season 13, Episode 11 aired in June 2025. The episode became one of the season's most dramatic. According to The Pitch's own blog, three investors made offers that added up to more than $1 million, but Trofimova left without a deal by the end of the episode. The show used it as a lesson in how a promising pitch can go sideways. She did share a strong number: one brand pilot saw conversions jump 22-fold. There's a wrinkle. The Pitch's founder page lists the episode as funded, which doesn't match the blog's account. We couldn't find any outside reporting to settle it. What's clear is that the idea and the rebrand carry on. Whether Sundae found backers after the cameras stopped is the next thing we want to know.
