Pitched on the show
AWEAR
Post-pitch story
Antonio Forenza's AWEAR wants to do for your brain what fitness trackers did for your heart. The company makes an ear-cuff wearable that reads brain activity, paired with an AI coaching app that helps people spot and manage stress. Season 13, Episode 13, billed as "Whoop for Your Brain," aired in September 2025, and The Pitch's founder page marks AWEAR as funded. The bigger spotlight came a few months later. AWEAR was selected for TechCrunch Disrupt 2025's Startup Battlefield, and in December 2025 TechCrunch profiled it as a startup that built "a Fitbit for your brain" to fight chronic stress. Mental health wearables are a crowded and fast-moving space, and AWEAR's challenge will be showing that its readings lead to real changes in how people feel. A spot in Startup Battlefield and a funded episode give it a strong start. We couldn't find how much AWEAR raised after the show or who invested. We also found different co-founder names in different sources: the company's own blog names Alejandra Guillén, while TechCrunch lists Cristiana Principato. We've left that open until it can be confirmed.
