SpotOn
Post-pitch story
Aparna Srinivasan's SpotOn solves a problem every city pet owner knows: how do you get your dog to the vet when you don't have a car and most rideshares won't take animals? SpotOn.pet is a ride-hailing service built just for pets and their people, operating mainly in New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. The business has quietly become a serious one. SpotOn reported $17 million in gross sales in 2025, up from $16 million in 2024. Most of its bookings come through partnerships with veterinarians, Petco, PetSmart, Purina and Google, rather than expensive consumer ads. Safety is a big part of the pitch: drivers are carefully vetted, including a check against an animal cruelty database. In late 2025, Srinivasan was raising $3 million at a $15 million valuation cap to expand into Austin, Atlanta and Seattle. She remains founder and CEO. (Note: SpotOn.pet is not related to the GPS dog-fence company with a similar name.) For a niche many investors might have dismissed, SpotOn has built steady revenue and a real brand among pet owners, and it's now looking to take the service to new cities.
