TRID
Post-pitch story
Graham Hawley called into the show's helpline episode in October 2020 with TRID, a Stitch Fix-style subscription and home-try-on clothing service built for trans, gender-nonconforming and nonbinary customers — people the fashion industry has long underserved. It was a thoughtful idea aimed at a real gap, and Hawley was looking for guidance on how to fund it. What happened next, we genuinely don't know. TRID left almost no public footprint: no launch coverage, no funding announcements, no website we could verify, and no news of a shutdown either. We also couldn't find current information about Hawley's professional activities. It's possible the service launched quietly and faded, or that it never fully launched at all — with so little public record, we can't confirm either way, and we're marking this as low confidence rather than guessing. The problem TRID set out to solve, though, hasn't gone away: inclusive fashion remains an underserved market. If you know what happened to TRID or Graham Hawley, send us a tip and we'll update this page.
