Jungle
Post-pitch story
Julian Alvarez and David Glass started Jungle in Palo Alto in 2023 to make studying less painful. Upload your lecture slides, PDFs or videos, and Jungle's AI turns them into flashcards and quizzes. Season 13, Episode 9 aired in May 2025, and the founders came in with real traction: about $1 million in yearly revenue, 180,000 monthly users and a profitable business. That's rare on The Pitch, and the panel noticed. Two investors made offers on air, reportedly including an offer to lead a $2 million seed round. Founders, Inc. is listed as a backer. Jungle has kept growing since. A Forbes profile in early 2026 reported $700,000 in revenue for 2024 and a projected $1.1 million for 2025, with about $953,000 raised in total. By then, the company said 1.5 million students had used Jungle, generating around 300 million practice questions. These figures come from the company, and we couldn't confirm whether the on-air seed offer closed. Still, for a two-founder company, getting students to pay for studying help is a strong signal. Jungle is one of the clearest growth stories of the season.
