Post-pitch story
Terrascope was a different kind of pitch: a climate-tech venture launched by Olam, the global food and agribusiness giant, with BCG Digital Ventures, and led by CEO Maya Hari, a former Twitter executive. Its software helps large enterprises measure their carbon emissions — by mid-2022, the platform reported having measured more than 230 million metric tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions across commercial trials in 15 countries. The company's post-show chapter appears to have ended in an exit: multiple startup databases report Terrascope was acquired by XeleratedFifty in early 2026, with the company having grown to dozens of employees. One honest caveat: the acquisition is reported by aggregators rather than a primary press release we've verified, and the reported dates are unusually recent, so we're marking the exit details as lower confidence until a formal announcement surfaces. But the broad strokes — a corporate-backed climate platform that scaled quickly and found a buyer — make Terrascope one of Season 9's more conventional venture outcomes.
