FightCamp
Post-pitch story
When Khalil Zahar first appeared on the show, the company was called Hykso and made punch-tracking sensors for pro boxers. The rebrand to FightCamp in 2018 signaled a much bigger ambition: a Peloton-style connected boxing gym for your living room. Investors bought in — literally. In June 2021 FightCamp closed a $90 million round led by NEA and Connect Ventures, with a cap table that reads like a fight card: Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Georges St-Pierre, and Francis Ngannou all invested, alongside Usher. The product kept evolving too, adding kickboxing tracking with ankle sensors and a two-player Versus mode. After years of US-only operations, FightCamp launched in Canada in November 2024, and as of 2025 sells kits from $400 to over $1,000 backed by a $39-a-month content membership. Zahar is still CEO and still making the case that boxing is the next mainstream fitness category. From wearable sensors for pros to a celebrity-backed home fitness platform — the pivot worked.
