Post-pitch story

Krystin Hargrove started CoTripper in 2018 as a side hustle with a simple idea: help single moms travel together, share costs, and stop feeling like vacations were built for two-parent families. On the show she pitched it as a travel company. Since then, it has become something broader. CoTripper now describes itself as a digital media platform for single mothers, covering not just travel but homeownership, careers and family support. The company launched a community feature where moms can find accountability partners and work toward specific life goals together, and Hargrove writes regularly and candidly on the site about money, motherhood and running a business. She has done it without giving up any equity. CoTripper has raised more than $200,000 in grants, and Hargrove still owns 100% of the company. In a September 2026 post, she said her focus is on launching a new version of the CoTripper app in the first quarter of 2027. It's a different shape than the company she pitched, but the mission is the same one: making life a little easier, and a lot less lonely, for single moms. Hargrove remains founder and CEO, and CoTripper is still building.
