Post-pitch story

Chase Robbins and Mia McCarthy brought Handle to the show in November 2023, and the episode aired as "The Uncut Pitch," the full, unedited conversation. Handle, born out of USC, was a delivery service built around college campuses. Early on it looked like a breakout: Poets&Quants named it one of the most disruptive business-school startups after it passed 100,000 orders. But campus delivery is a tough, low-margin fight against much bigger apps. PitchBook lists Handle as out of business as of April 2025, and the founders have since moved on to other ventures and roles. We haven't found a public shutdown announcement from either founder, so the exact reasons are unclear. Handle reached real scale for a student-founded company. If you're one of the students who ordered through it, or you know how the ending played out, send us a tip.
