Munir Pathak

Post-pitch story

Munir Pathak pitched Swirl as a Slack app that builds connection at work by matching coworkers with different backgrounds for coffee or lunch. The Philadelphia startup joined the Philly Startup Leaders accelerator in 2019, but it shut down around 2021, and Pathak became head of product at ReadySet. In May 2025 he became CEO of Street FC, a New York sports and community platform that is expanding across the U.S. and Australia. Swirl didn't last, but its founder's focus on bringing people together carried straight into his next company.
